Zoe Amor
Zoe works extensively in the arts and cultural fields as an artist, director, curator, consultant, researcher, writer, designer, project manager, lecturer, and facilitator. She has been the recipient of awards and residencies; has curated numerous exhibitions and her work is commissioned, exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions and is held in public and private collections. Zoe Amor shares her Art life with her family in the gardens and bushland of Chewton on Jaara country, Central Victoria.
Combining an artistic ethos with cross-disciplinary research, she is deeply interested in the way we respond to cultural and environmental change over time. This is evident with her contribution to our current group show. Zoe’s collections brings together a range of disciplines, each piece crafted to reflect the landscape that surrounds the gallery whilst creating a dialogue with the other works in the collection. Her work serves as the channels that allow every other work to speak either directly or through their shared surrounds.
